We invite you to our 7th annual tournament Galante Bajbory (Sep 13 – Sep 15, 2024)!

▫️24 teams (OPEN)
▫️Entry fee: 1410 PLN (330 EUR).
▫️4 games guaranteed for all teams
▫️5 games for 20 best teams
▫️6th game for the top 8 teams
▫️Registration opens on the 12.05.2024 at 20:00
▫️Prize money: 7000 zł! 💰

▫️First 6 registered teams get guaranteed spots.
▫️Registration deadline: 11.08.2024. Afterwards, teams will be able to register for the waiting list only.

THE SYSTEM:

▫️Niciarniana, Włókiennicza and Przędzalniana sections play 3 games using the Schenkel System (points, stone ratio, end ratio, stones, ends)

▫️Section winners, runners-up and 2 best teams from 3rd places play in Górna (High Road) Quarter Finals. Last team from 3rd place, 4th and 5th placed teams and best team from 6th place play in Śródmieście (Middle Road) Quarter Finals. Remaining 8 teams play in Doły (Low Road) Quarter Finals.

▫️Górna and Śródmieście (High and Middle Road) also play games 5-8, teams will be ranked according to the stones scored in the last game

After 100 minutes a signal will be played meaning that the currently played end is ultimate.

PRIZE MONEY:

▫️ Górna winner (The Champion of Galante Bajbory 2021): 2200 PLN
▫️ Górna Runner-up: 1300 PLN
▫️ Górna 3rd place: 800 PLN

▫️ Śródmieście winner: 700 PLN
▫️ Śródmieście runner-up: 600 PLN
▫️ Śródmieście 3rd place: 500 PLN

▫️ Doły winner: 400 PLN
▫️ Doły runner-up: 300 PLN
▫️ Doły 3rd place: 200 PLN

System and prize money might change if less teams than 24 participate.

Only original, unmodified, WCF-approved pads and covers with codes ale allowed at this event.

❗️PLEASE NOTE: Only entries with complete team line-up (4 players minimum) will be considered

❕ An automated email will be sent to confirm the submission of the entry form. Should you not receive it, please contact us on: kontakt@curlinglodz.pl

❕ Accepted teams will be notified by email no later than the 16th of August 2024 and entry fee payment info will be provided. If no payment is received by the 38th of Augusty 2024, the team's spot will be passed to a waitlisted team without further reminders. Entry fee will not be refunded for any withdrawals made after September 3th, 2024. Any refunds requested before or on that date will be charged with a cancellation fee of 66 EUR.
